A&R Hotel is a Kuala Lumpur hospitality brand built on a simple belief: that a hotel stay can feel personal, thoughtfully designed, and genuinely good value — all at the same time.
We operate two distinct properties in KL's most connected neighbourhoods. A&R Boutique Hotel in Cheras brings individually decorated rooms and boutique character to a part of the city that visitors rarely explore but always love. A&R Urban Hotel off Jalan Ipoh delivers a more contemporary experience, with lake-view suites and modern amenities in one of northern KL's most strategically positioned locations.

We rejected the chain-hotel model of identical rooms stamped out from a single template. Every A&R room is individually decorated — different textiles, different art, different spatial arrangement. This isn't marketing copy; it's the reason guests tell us their room felt like it was designed for them specifically.

The A&R Pillow Menu offers four pillow types — Finest Down, Contour Memory Foam, Signature Cubicle, and Natural Buckwheat — as a complimentary choice for every guest. It's the detail that guests remember. It's also the detail that says everything about how we think about hospitality.

We chose Cheras and Jalan Ipoh because they're authentic parts of Kuala Lumpur that offer remarkable connectivity without the premium prices of the tourist district. A&R Boutique Hotel is 700m from Taman Midah MRT. A&R Urban Hotel is 5 minutes from Jalan Ipoh. Both properties let guests live like locals.

How We Operate
A&R Hotel is a locally owned and managed brand. Every ringgit spent stays within the Malaysian economy. We source from local suppliers, employ local staff, and reinvest in our properties continuously.
We don't believe in greenwashing with marketing claims. What we do: we minimise single-use plastics where practical, encourage guests to reuse towels on multi-night stays, and use energy-efficient lighting throughout both properties.
Our communities in Cheras and Jalan Ipoh are our neighbours, not just our backdrop. We recommend local restaurants, local attractions, and local experiences wherever our guests ask for guidance.
